Dear first-year students,
The Department of Biology welcomes you!
You are about to embark on an exciting course of study in Biology, which you can rightly look forward to!
You will probably have some questions, especially before and at the beginning of your studies. To make your start with us as easy as possible, we would like to provide you with some information on this page.
At the beginning of the courses, the official welcome and introductory events of our department take place, to which we cordially invite you! We highly recommend that you attend these events, as you will receive a lot of important information about the start of your studies and at the same time get to know all the important contact persons.
The official welcome and introductory event, the starting signal, will take place this year on 21.10.2024 from 13:30 in room 13-322 . You will be notified in good time by e-mail.

Furthermore, the Biology Student Council offers an extensive welcome program for all students with an information evening, hike, freshman weekends and much more as part of the Freshman Days.
The student council also maintains its own homepage with many offers and information on the organization of your studies.
The Student Service Center (SSC) offers a comprehensive range of advice and information about studying at RPTU!
