The "science of life" (Greek bios, life & logos, teaching) is a multifaceted natural science that describes and further discovers the secrets of life using state-of-the-art techniques and versatile research approaches. The Department of Biology at TU Kaiserslautern currently has 18 research and teaching staff from modern, molecular to classical organismic subjects.
