The Department of Biology mourns the loss of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Bässler

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Bässler has passed away at the age of 92. Prof. Bässler held the Chair of Animal Physiology from 1971 to 1998 and was instrumental in shaping the development of the Biology department at the University of Kaiserslautern.

The Department of Biology has lost a valued colleague whose commitment and expertise will remain unforgotten.
