6500+ coupled with Waters ACQUITY Premier and SelexION.

The 6500+ mass spectrometer provides a sensitive, high-throughput platform for the quantification of primary and photosynthetic intermediates, along with bio-inert chromatography for the separation of polar metabolites. The instrument is directly coupled to an ion mobility (SelexION, ABSciex) system for robust isomer separation and enhanced ion transmission.

For quantification, we use label-free and labeled standard curves for most primary and photosynthetic intermediates, in addition to isotopomer analysis of 13C-based labeling flux experiments. For quantification, we use SciexOS software, which enables automated, precise peak annotation and integration, as well as an improved targeted workflow.
