Animal Physiology at RPTU
We investigate the translation of synaptic physiology into higher brain functions - from molecules to synapses, neurons and neuronal circuits to systemic brain functions.
Among other things, we are investigating how risk alleles of genes for neuropsychiatric diseases lead to cognitive impairments.
