Conference venue

The 39th annual meeting of the German Society for Protozoology will take place at the University of Kaiserslautern, located on the edge of the Palatinate region.

The University of Kaiserslautern was founded in 1970 and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Today it is the only technical and scientific university in the Palatinate region.

As a campus university with approximately 14,900 students, it offers a wide range of academic programs across twelve faculties. Most programs take an interdisciplinary approach, combining different subject areas.

 

 

 

The scientific program will take place in the Rotunda in Building 57, which was established as the university’s main venue for official and festive events.

Walk from Hotel B&B Kaiserslautern: 2,3 km - 30 min

 

Bus from Kaiserslautern main train station:

Busline 105: depart at"Steig A Kaiserslautern, Hauptbahnhof" (direction: Kaiserslautern, Kurt-Schumacher-Str.) --> leave bus at station"Kaiserslautern, Uni Ost" (9 min)

Busline 105 departs every 30 min.

 

Busline 115: depart at"Steig B Kaiserslautern, Hauptbahnhof" (direction: Kaiserslautern, Uni Ost) --> leave bus at station"Kaiserslautern, Uni Ost" (8 min)

Busline 115 departs every 15 min.
