Genetic information of eukaryotic cells is located on chromosomes in the nucleus. Preserving the integrity of this genetic information is necessary for survival of every organism on earth. We examine molecular mechanisms of chromosome replication, repair and segregation, and how errors in these processes contribute to human diseases. more
