Our esteemed colleague Prof. Eckhard Friauf (Animal Physiology, University of Kaiserslautern-Landau), will go into his well-deserved retirement. Of course, we do not want to let him go without a "Farewell Symposium" on Thursday, September 19 and Friday, September 20, 2024.
The event will begin on Thursday at noon with a get-together (a small lunch will be provided) and at 2 pm with a scientific program in the Rotunde (see Campus Map). On Thursday evening there will be a dinner at the restaurant "Brauhaus an der Gartenschau" and we plan to continue the scientific program on Friday from 9 am to 1 pm.
In addition to a casual get-together with Eck’s companions, collaboration partners, former colleagues and friends, we organize a scientific program of the highest caliber.
