Requirements

• Completed application form. Each application must be endorsed by one of the Invited Speakers. Each speaker can endorse only one applicant. Download Application Form.doc.

• Abstract (max. 300 words) for poster presentation. Download Abstract.doc. Each participant is expected to present a poster.

• Submit your application as early as possible but no later than 1^st February 2014. Please send your application form and abstract as PDF files to sandro.keller[at]biologie.uni-kl.de.

General information

• Applications from young researchers, including undergraduate and graduate students, are welcome.
  
  
• The number of participants for this WE-Heraeus-Seminar is limited. Selection of participants will be based on the quality and relevance to the topic of the seminar. Selected applicants will be informed in the beginning of March 2014.
  
  
• All participants are expected to join the seminar for the entire 3.5 days.
  
  
• Among the accepted abstracts, 24 poster flashes will be chosen on the basis of scientific excellence and novelty.
  
  
• A poster prize will be awarded on the last day of the WE-Heraeus-Seminar.
  
  
• There is NO conference fee. All participants will be provided accommodation and meals at the Physikzentrum free of charge, but participants have to shoulder their own travel expenses, insurance, etc.
