In order to be selected for our master program you should:

• have completed your bachelor with a very good grade (top 20%)
• received theoretical AND practical training in a bachelor program with content comparable to the classes taught in the biology bachelor program at the University of Kaiserslautern (check here)
• have attended practical lab courses that teach basic experimental procedures in the subjects relevant for the specialization of the master program you are interested in
• have already basic lab skills and solid theoretical knowledge in molecular DNA techniques
• speak, write, and understand English fluently.

We offer:

• an attractive and demanding English full-time program at our university awarding a Master of Science degree within 2 years
• small classes of 8 to 20 students who often work together in teams
• a focus in one out of four main specializations (Ecology; Microbial & Plant Biotechnology; Molecular Cell Biology; Neurobiology)
