We are pleased to announce that two of our early-career researchers represented our group at the 6th Symposium on Invasive Species in Zagreb, Croatia. Postdoctoral researcher Dr. Ljudevit Luka Boštjančić and PhD candidate Isabell Kuhn each presented their work, contributing valuable insights to the international discussion on invasive species.

Luka delivered a talk about his current research, titled "A preliminary study of passive eDNA collection for freshwater crayfish monitoring in lotic habitats." For Isabell, the symposium marked a special milestone: her first conference participation. Her presentation was based on a recently published study and was titled "Trophic interactions between the European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis) and invasive species."
